SAP Finance Application Manager

Harrington Boyd are currently working with a globally renowned packaging company who are searching for an SAP Finance Application Manager to join their team! This position will require some on-site work at the clients location in Bavaria for the first 6 months before moving to fully remote (if you wish!).

Your responsibilities :

• Streamlining and standardising company-wide core accounting processes within the SAP FI module.
• Assisting project management in the planning and execution of complex SAP projects, including new implementations and roll-outs.
• Supporting project management in SAP project planning and execution while managing specific sub-projects.
• Providing advisory services and technical support to end users at the 2nd and 3rd support levels.
• Developing training materials and conducting training sessions in collaboration with relevant departments.

Your skills and experience :

• At least 5 years of experience working with SAP Finance
• Ability to work on the customisation and implementation of SAP Finance
• Ability to manage smaller projects relating to SAP Finance
• Knowledge of S / 4HANA is not essential for the position, and training will be provided when the company starts to make the move
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English and German is essential
