My client is a silicon IP provider seeking to hire an exceptional Sales Manager or Sr. Sales Manager to join the Silicon IP Sales team in Germany.


You will be reporting to the Director of Silicon IP Sales in Europe, with a focus on developing and growing the Silicon IP business through strategic customer relationships and opportunities. The main responsibility is to achieve assigned sales targets by developing and maintaining customer accounts.


The role is fully remote in Germany, and it is preferred that the successful candidate be based near one of the main transport hubs or major cities in the Semiconductor industry like Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, or Dusseldorf.


Responsibilities:


  1. Develop and execute business growth plans at key strategic accounts.
  2. Accountable for delivering revenue, gross margin, and design win revenue goals.
  3. Forecast long-term demand and near-term revenue.
  4. Assess current opportunities, resources, and capabilities needed to meet or exceed sales plans.
  5. Develop and execute innovative sales approaches to drive revenue and profitability growth.
  6. Maintain and grow the existing customer base while increasing focus on pursuing and investing in new high-value accounts.
  7. Work with marketing to develop account strategies based on market analysis and customer segmentation.
  8. Build processes to understand current/future customer requirements, detect market trends, and align product development, manufacturing capabilities, and investment strategy.
  9. Work closely with the Business Units to successfully introduce new products on critical launch calendars.
  10. Develop and build senior-level relationships internal and external to major accounts and targets.

Qualifications:


  1. BSEE / MSEE (preferred).
  2. Demonstrable long-standing experience in semiconductor Sales, customer engagement, or field marketing.
  3. Practical experience selling semiconductor IP, Foundry, ASIC is a must.
  4. Experience with PCIe/CXL, memory, security IP, and services preferred.
  5. Experience in detailed forecasting and sales opportunity funnel.
  6. Goal/target-oriented with a proven track record in customer development and a strong desire to achieve customer satisfaction.
  7. Strong semiconductor industry network with pre-existing executive relationships that will translate to improved traction for strategic engagements.
  8. Strong project management and negotiating skills.
  9. Familiarity with salesforce.com and other sales tools.
  10. Excellent presentation skills.
