Rheinmetall / System Engineer Pre-Development Tracked Vehicles (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Technical project management incl. budget and time responsibility
• Technical responsibility for complex partial / complete systems
• Creation of concepts and feasibility studies at sub / overall system level as well as specifications at sub / overall system level
• Development of quantity structures, management plans and schedules
• Coordination and management of work packages that are processed internally or externally
• Close coordination with the program area and sales
• Collaboration with national and international customers
• Cooperation / coordination with other areas (logistics, purchasing, production, etc.) and external suppliers and service providers
• Carrying out reviews (internal / external)

What Qualifications You Should Have

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the desired field
• Military background is an advantage
• Experience in development, especially in CAD design with Siemens NX
• Good knowledge of DOORS, PLM and MS Office
• Industry knowledge from the defense or automotive industry is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• High degree of flexibility and stress resistance
• Willingness to travel occasionally
