Responsibilities

As an experienced pipeline engineer (m/w/d) in gas network expansion, you will be responsible for planning and evaluating pipeline inspections, developing and optimizing modern maintenance strategies, and contributing to innovative solutions, especially in hydrogen transport.

• Organizing and analyzing pipeline inspections to ensure technical integrity
• Evaluating inspection results and conducting result comparisons
• Investigating external influences such as geotechnical variables and nearby construction projects
• Participating in the optimization of inspection procedures and technologies in the hydrogen sector
• Developing and advancing maintenance strategies according to international standards

Qualifications

• A completed engineering degree or technical training with relevant professional experience
• Experience in inspections related to gas or hydrogen pipelines
• Knowledge in inspection data analysis and familiarity with DVGW standards is desirable
• Team orientation, resilience, and flexibility
• Excellent German and English language skills and willingness to travel to construction sites
