Job Description:

e*star provides trading solutions for the European energy markets and has over 15 years of experience in this field. The European energy sector is currently undergoing a historic transformation due to energy transition and digitalization. Tasks

• Collaborate with key players in the European energy market
• Plan, realize, and manage projects in energy trading, risk management, sales trading, cloud hosting, etc.
• Analyze business and IT processes, identify requirements, and design trading solutions
• Enhance customer usage of our solutions and optimize their setups
• Take responsibility for customer satisfaction as the main contact
• Contribute to product development in a changing market
• Expand knowledge of energy trading and technologies
• Support sales with your expertise

Requirements

• Valid work permit
• Degree in (business) informatics, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business administration, or similar
• Practical experience in project management, requirements engineering, business analysis, and designing trading solutions
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; precise and independent work style
• Passion for IT; knowledge of hosting, cloud, infrastructure, SQL, databases, XML, or development skills is advantageous
• Enjoy tackling project challenges to meet customer requirements
• Previous experience in energy/commodity trading and customer acquisition is a plus
• English proficiency at C1 level; German skills are welcome
• Appreciate a professional yet relaxed corporate culture

This position is remote, but working from our offices in Karlsruhe, Frankfurt, Leipzig, or London is also welcome.
