The Role:

Propellerhead is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our core service delivery team. You will design and build interesting and challenging software products for our customers. Your team will operate with a high degree of autonomy, working alongside like-minded software craftspeople. We seek someone enthusiastic about advancing our customers into the next generation of the internet, with interests in edge computing and/or data and identity self-sovereignty.

Role Responsibilities:

• Define, with your team, the technologies and programming languages that best serve your solutions, aligned with our innovation strategy.
• Participate actively in software solution design, including code structure, deployment architecture, DevOps, automated testing, and third-party system integration.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and Propellerhead team members to ensure shared understanding of design and delivery within budget.
• Construct software across all layers, from user interfaces to back-end services, data repositories, interoperability, infrastructure-as-code, deployment pipelines, automated testing, and system monitoring.
• Provide second-line support for your systems and continuously seek ways to enhance security, performance, and reliability.
• Share knowledge of new technologies or techniques with the organization as part of our learning culture.

Skills and Experience Required:

• 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer, including enterprise-level complexity.
• High proficiency in .NET and ReactJS.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Node.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
• Hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with asynchronous services and stream processing.
• Desirable but not essential: Go, Rust, Kubernetes, Terraform.
• Demonstrable experience in designing architecture with interdependent features.
• Experience using user stories to express work as business outcomes.
• Ability to produce clear and concise design documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to bridge requirements and technical tasks.
