DeLaval is now looking for a Global Demand & Supply Planning Manager for our Supply Chain. The Supply Chain organisation focuses on creating efficiency and end customer benefits. The Supply Chain should combine our global ways of working with regional closeness, and data should be transparent across the entire supply chain. We will continue to optimise and redesign our global footprint – for both sustainability and transport cost reasons.

Purpose Of Role And Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing Supply and Demand Planning of Capital Goods globally in close collaboration with executive Sales Management and Supply Chain Management leadership.
  • Global responsibility for developing and implementing monitoring instruments (Control Tower) for all capital goods systems to align order intake against factories capacities and inventory levels.
  • Planning of about 600 article numbers in APO.
  • Leading cross-functional meetings (SOP Meetings) to review demand and supply plans, addressing any discrepancies or challenges.
  • Responsibility for overall DeLaval Supply Chain Management Reporting essential to Executive Management for executive decision making.
  • Leading your team of 6 and functional leadership of 14 other employees worldwide.
  • Analysis of sales data and market conditions to adjust supply plans and mitigate risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Responsible for conduct and documentation of trainings on APO / forecasting globally.
  • Contribution to transformation project from SAP R3 to SAP HANA, especially to implementation of SAP IBP Module.

Qualifications And Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or a similar role, typically 8+ years.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in demand forecasting.
  • Experience in SAP required, preferably in SAP APO or even IBP.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to globally collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The position is located in Gallin (Germany), global travelling will be part of this position, you will report to VP Planning & Logistics.
