Job Title : Grid Connection Specialist – Renewable Energy Storage Projects

A leading Renewable Energy Project Developer and EPC with multiple offices across Germany is looking to expand its specialist Grid team due to natural growth in their project pipeline reaching 1 GW! They are looking for a motivated professional to support the planning and implementation of grid connections for energy storage systems and hybrid projects.

Your Role :

• Develop technical concepts for grid connections of energy storage systems and hybrid plants
• Manage application processes and secure grid access, including communication with grid operators
• Strategically plan and identify suitable locations for new energy storage projects
• Coordinate with grid operators, planning offices, and other external stakeholders
• Support project development through technical analyses and economic assessments

Your Profile :

• Several years of experience in grid connections for renewable energy projects at medium and high voltage levels
• Active professional network with grid operators and key stakeholders in the energy sector
• In-depth knowledge of relevant grid connection regulations and standards (e.g., grid codes, technical connection rules)
• Basic understanding of battery storage systems and hybrid energy solutions
• Degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, or a related field
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in dealings with grid operators and public authorities
• Independent, structured work style with strong analytical thinking
