AI Engineer (m/f/d) in B2B SaaS AI Startup

We are developing the definitive "global trade compliance intelligence platform", centered around our customs classification engine, fully powered by (artificial) Intelligence, transforming the landscape of international trade.

Tasks

As an AI Engineer, you will work closely with our product and tech teams to develop innovative features that meet customer needs and drive business impact. Your responsibilities include:

1. Research & Experimentation: Exploring cutting-edge AI techniques, prototyping new ideas, and validating concepts through experiments and metrics.
2. End-to-End Development: Turning research insights into production-ready features with careful planning, prototyping, quality assurance, and seamless integration of AI functionalities.
3. Problem Solving & Innovation: Asking deep "why" questions to identify root problems, exploring creative solutions, and implementing them effectively.
4. Product Focus: Building solutions that are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

You will have significant responsibilities but will be supported by a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and mutual growth.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, or AI-Agents, with a proven track record of deploying AI solutions in production.
• Strong background in Software Engineering or Data Science. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Effective communication skills, collaborative attitude, and ability to work within a diverse team.

Experience with some of these technologies:

• Programming Language: Python (required)
• Deep Learning Frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow
• Other: ML-Ops
