The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program offers opportunities to work for one of our subsidiaries worldwide.

With over [number] employees and a turnover of 16.4 billion, we have been a market leader in automotive supplies for a century. The Ratingen site in Germany focuses on Services. We are looking for a VIE Trade Marketer for a 12-month period.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure alignment between product marketing and sales, develop markets to promote sales of existing and new distributors.
2. Manage products in the independent aftermarket, focusing on margins and turnover.
3. Conduct market and competition analyses, develop and implement strategies.
4. Plan and execute sales promotion campaigns.
5. Collaborate closely with the sales team to implement promotional measures.
6. Prepare and execute annual marketing plans, including pricing strategies.
7. Maintain regular contact with customers, manufacturing plants, and European marketing teams.

Qualifications:

• Degree in marketing, business administration, industrial engineering, or related fields.
• Interest in product management, industry, trade, and automotive aftermarket.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High commitment, independent, professional work ethic.
• Excellent English skills; German is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, international mindset, open to diverse cultures.
• Humble, attentive listener, positive, diplomatic.
