We are seeking an experienced professional in the field of PLC Automation for our semiconductor technology department.

In this role, you will be responsible for programming control systems for advanced semiconductor equipment. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to optimize automation processes. This position does not require travel and offers a modern work environment.

Tasks

  1. Development and programming of control software for machines and plants in TIA Portal.
  2. Creation of visualizations and user interfaces with Siemens WinCC-Flexible or similar.
  3. Conduct virtual software testing in a simulated environment and perform commissioning activities, including preparing test reports.
  4. Support machine operation and troubleshooting faults, providing solutions to resolve issues.
  5. Create instructions, training materials, and user documentation for operators.

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation; a master’s degree with a focus on automation software is desirable.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming, especially for Siemens PLCs (2+ years) and TIA Portal.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, FBD, and ST.
  • Ability to perform independent error analysis and troubleshooting (testing and debugging).
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German at B1-B2 level is required.
  • Additional skills that are a plus: knowledge of agile development (SCRUM), C++, and/or C#.
