Global Sea Logistics Technology Team Lead (m/f/d) MS-IP

Join the Global Sea Logistics Technology team to lead a team of IT experts developing solutions to run business processes and workflows for our Sea Logistics organization.

Your Role

SeaLOG is the largest transport management product in the industry, developed by KN people for KN people. With SeaLOG we enable KN operations to digitize business processes for Sea logistics supporting the best product delivery to our customers. As a member of the SeaLOG leadership team you will help moving the product to the next level, with more and more automated processes, supporting data driven decision making and integrating further with customers and suppliers to increase end-to-end process efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver changes in your domain into regular product releases on time and in good quality
• Provide major upgrades to increase operational efficiency and automation, designed in close cooperation with the business
• Ensure first class operations support to minimize customer impact in case of incidents
• Continuously improve quality and maintainability of responsible domain
• Run and advance a highly automated software delivery pipeline
• Lead a team of 9 multi-discipline, multi-national team members in Hamburg
• Be line manager, set goals and assess achievements, review salaries, ensure personal development and decide about promotions
• Build a high performing team and elevate our next generation of IT experts

Your Skills and Experiences

• Experience as people manager (team lead or equivalent)
• Agile mindset supported by know-how and practical experience in leading agile teams or agile transformations
• Modern software development processes, from development practices and test automation to code metrics and continuous delivery
• Hands-on mentality, taking care of production problems and following up and through delivery issues
• Strong background in computer science with practical experience in programming, software design or quality assurance - OR - strong background in freight forwarding with practical experience in IT supported logistics operations
• Experience in process orchestration with Camunda is an advantage
