About The Role

Diageo invests significantly in direct-to-consumer brand building. To achieve this, we partner with our customers to influence purchasing decisions. Since most shoppers and consumers buy from a repertoire of brands, their behavior can be easily influenced by what they see or don’t see at the point of purchase. In the Customer Activation team, you will collaborate with our customer teams to understand the needs of shoppers and customers, and work with the marketing team to develop programs and tools that ensure excellent execution of our brands.

This role places you at the core of our business! You will work closely with our sales teams to provide insights, growth drivers, and tools needed to execute Diageo’s commercial plan effectively, shifting consumer and shopper behavior to meet our financial and market share ambitions.

Top Accountabilities

  • Develop comprehensive 360-degree activation plans for our customers, balancing portfolio and key brand focus
  • Manage the implementation of activation initiatives for your brands
  • Create and execute outstanding shopper marketing activities
  • Ensure the flawless delivery of all assets and tools for effective activation
  • Collaborate with activation agencies to develop innovative shopper marketing concepts
  • Plan, execute, and assess trade marketing initiatives using relevant metrics and frameworks
  • Manage the budget efficiently for point-of-purchase activations

About You

  • At least 2 years of experience in Sales or Marketing roles
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Commercial acumen and attention to detail, with numerical savvy
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners
  • Problem-solving skills and adaptability to ambiguity and change
