Systems Engineer / Project Manager Development (PVE) (f / m / d)

Summary

For the department GBAD Solutions Engineering, we are looking for a Systems Engineer / Project Manager Development (PVE) (f/m/d) at the Ulm site as soon as possible.

The department develops radar products and sensor system solutions. The product portfolio includes Naval and Ground products such as TRS-4D, TRML-4D, COBRA, and EUA-NT. Additionally, we support the program with project management, proposal preparation, and customer meetings.

Your Tasks

• Manage development work packages in terms of time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary development teams.
• Oversee and implement the development process.
• Collaborate closely with the program area and technical disciplines.
• Define technical system requirements, system architecture, interface documents, system analyses, and system safety.
• Establish requirements performance data for subsystems and create subsystem specifications.
• Support coordination of all system development activities related to system safety.
• Assist with acquisition efforts through effort estimates and proposal preparations.

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering, electrical engineering, IT, aerospace, or related fields.
• Several years of professional experience, ideally including system safety.
• Experience in radar system development.
• Experience in technical team management.
• Knowledge of safety standards such as MIL-STD-882 and BAAINBw verification manuals.
• Experience with functional hazard analysis (FHA).
• Proficiency with DOORS, MATLAB, and MBSE.
• Basic knowledge of EU product conformity.
• Strong teamwork, assertiveness, resilience, and a confident demeanor.
• Business-fluent German and very good English skills.
