The BP Filtration Sales Specialist (d/f/m) is responsible for supporting all relevant call points across Bioprocess where Filtration Consumables products are sold. Provide expert product knowledge, training, and support to Account Managers, while working to generate sales from new and existing customers. This role should evaluate customer processes to identify solutions and provide the necessary tools, information, and support to increase sales and identify new opportunities.

This position reports to the BP Zone Filtration Lead and is part of the Account/Direct Sales department based in Germany. The role will be remote, covering the North/West region, including Kiel, Hannover, Hamburg, Bremen, etc.

What you will do:

  • Contribute to sales strategies and account plans as part of the core account team.
  • Focus on Filtration Consumables opportunities and surrounding single-use designs within your region, supporting all related products and technologies by providing expertise and independently identifying opportunities.
  • Develop sales of modality solutions, establishing long-lasting technical customer relationships.
  • Provide high-level technical expertise during pre-sales discussions, demonstrations, customer training, post-sales support, seminars, tenders/quotes, and promotional events.
  • Develop sales opportunities to create a pipeline to meet business targets, managing leads and prospects using CRM software.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field.
  • Several years of commercial experience, ideally within the biotechnology industry.
  • In-depth expertise in filtration hardware and consumables.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-selling, upselling, value positioning, and funnel management.
  • Fluent in German and English, with strong communication and negotiation skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to travel approximately 40%, including overnight stays within the territory.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
