We are seeking an experienced Structural Assembly Technician to support complex manual production and assembly operations on the Airbus A320 family. The role involves precision work with components, assemblies, and structural parts using specialized manufacturing processes and adhering to strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform complex assembly tasks involving structural parts, components, and assemblies for the A320 family.
- Carry out manual production activities using specialized manufacturing techniques.
- Conduct production inspections, troubleshooting, and fault identification.
- Document all work activities accurately and completely.
- Perform minor repairs independently based on defect reports or approved concessions.
- Provide timely feedback to supervisors and Customer Service staff upon task completion.
- Conduct additional measurements or tests following the correction of deviations.
- Execute functional tests using diagnostic systems.
- Verify the availability, conformity, and integrity of parts, materials, and tools; report discrepancies.
- Ensure the availability and readiness of fixtures, tools, and consumables.
- Immediately report any technical disruptions or safety concerns.
- Inspect completed work for quality and completeness according to inspection protocols.
- Document inspection and measurement results using the GTI system.
- Perform intermediate inspections and failure analyses during production.
- Initiate and document corrective actions as needed.
- Transfer completed components with proper documentation and communicate deviations.
- Uphold the 5S methodology to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Your profile
- Proven experience in structural assembly, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Previous work experience as a structural mechanic at Airbus is strongly preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing fuselage sections or comparable large structural components is essential.
- Candidates with primarily maintenance experience are not suitable.
- Proficiency in English or German is required.
