Job Description:

We are a medium-sized IT company based in Karlsruhe, Germany, specializing in tailored solutions for global air traffic control authorities. Our systems operate at various flight control centers and airports across more than 80 countries, contributing to flight security. As part of the Frequentis group in Vienna, Austria, we are looking for a Technical Trainer for Military Surveillance Networks.

Responsibilities include:

• Implementing technical training courses for military user groups in Germany.
• Developing and improving training concepts, materials, and documents in German.
• Preparing, organizing, and delivering classroom and online training courses.
• Collaborating with product management, development, and support teams to ensure relevant training content.
• Supporting system launches and customer support during pilot phases.
• Participating in system tests to create realistic training scenarios.

Qualifications:

• Completed technical training or studies in computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or similar fields.
• Experience with complex software solutions, preferably in security or defense sectors.
• Ideally, experience as a trainer, instructor, or in a military or similar environment.
• Knowledge in designing and implementing training courses for various user levels.
• Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and ASTERIX protocol or willingness to learn.
• Experience troubleshooting servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, NTP servers, and security diodes.
• Willingness to travel over 70% within Germany.
• Ability to obtain security clearance.
• Excellent written and spoken German (C2 level).
