Essity’s business unit Health and Medical Solutions sells and markets purpose-made incontinence products and services under the global leading brand TENA and develops, manufactures and sells products within wound care, compression therapy, and orthopedics under the Leukoplast, Cutimed, JOBST, Delta Cast, Delta Lite, and Actimove brands.

To support us on this exciting journey, we’re now looking for an Initiatives Manager Manufacturing (d/f/m) to join our business unit Health and Medical Solutions in our Hamburg (Hausbruch) office. It is an unlimited, full-time position.

Your Role

1. Be the first point of contact in the site for all projects and activities linked with new product, transfers, material- and equipment changes.
2. Drive and coordinate the project portfolio activities and projects within the factory (e.g. improvement and CAPEX projects).
3. Identify, drive and execute together with local and global stakeholders actions to optimize product, material, and equipment utilization.
4. Collaborate closely with Global Marketing, R&D, legal Teams, and Markets to support Global Projects by aligning it with factory resources and to obtain input for new innovations and value creation opportunities.
5. Lead and develop the Team of Site Project Managers.
6. Ensure that projects are delivering against agreed Key Performance Indicators and develop the project management culture within the site.

You Identify Yourself With

1. Academic degree in medical, natural sciences, or engineering field.
2. At least 5 years of working experience in the medical or FMCG area.
3. Demonstrated CAPEX projects >1 Mio.
4. Profound knowledge in project management and tools.
5. Experience in managing and leading teams.
6. Fluent in German and English.
