Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and harmonize global procurement policies, guidelines, processes and tools (incl. IT-tools), to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Represent Strategic Procurement for process-, systems & tools-, methods-, and KPI- questions.
  • Drive, support and monitor global implementation of procurement best practices, including training programs.
  • Act as Business Process Owner for Strategic Procurement (procure-to-pay process).
  • Work with procurement heads to deliver best-in-class capabilities and optimize the end-to-end procurement process.
  • Oversee the procurement digitalization roadmap in collaboration with group strategy and key stakeholders.
  • Lead, coordinate and support overarching procurement projects and activities.
  • Develop a data-driven culture and ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated, and consistent procurement data.
  • Monitor and report on procurement performance.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and procedures.
  • Integration of new departments/functions/companies into Meditec Procurement organization.
  • Leading PMI activities for Strategic Procurement.
  • Supporting internal audits and audits from external authorities.
  • Manage international travel activities.

Qualifications

  • Procurement professional with 5+ years of experience in consulting or international matrix environments, with strengths in designing and implementing effective organization, processes and modern procurement tools at a global level.
  • Experienced in implementing or managing processes in regard to source-to-contract, purchase-to-pay and/or global business services.
  • Excellent communication skills and capability to animate diverse and demanding stakeholders to foster collaborations, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Service-oriented capability to bring a strategic vision and hands-on contribution to achieve goals.
  • Analytical, fact-based, strong conceptual skills and able to make solid business cases.
  • Fluent in English and preferably a 2nd language like German or French.
  • Good knowledge in SAP-MM and MS-Office.
