Senior Technical F&O Consultant

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). You will lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions that support enterprise-grade digital transformation initiatives. This role demands a high level of technical proficiency, problem-solving capability, and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of customisations, integrations, and extensions in D365 F&O using X++, C#, and Azure tools.
• Take ownership of technical architecture decisions and ensure alignment with solution design and business objectives.
• Implement robust integration solutions using OData, REST APIs, Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Power Platform.
• Build and optimise data entities, SSRS reports, batch processes, and workflows.
• Manage environments, deployments, and release pipelines through LCS and Azure DevOps.
• Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders, to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and scalability issues in production environments.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers and consultants.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics AX / D365 F&O development.
• Strong command of X++, the D365 extension framework, and event-driven architecture.
• In-depth understanding of D365 F&O modules, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, LCS, Git, and CI/CD pipeline configuration.
• Experience with Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse, is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Microsoft certification(s) such as MB-500 or Solution Architect Expert is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
