Corporate IT (CIT) at Carl Zeiss AG manages IT across all business units. We are seeking an experienced SAP Foreign Trade Consultant (m/w/x) to strengthen our international trade team. Your role includes:

  1. Leading the digital transformation of business processes across ERP systems, transitioning from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA.
  2. Managing the entire lifecycle from ideation to implementation, training, and support.
  3. Utilizing both agile and traditional project management tools in project execution.
  4. Serving as a technical bridge to business units within the Foreign Trade SAP team, providing system responsibility, advising SAP key users, and coordinating external IT partners.
  5. Participating in global M&A and SAP rollout projects with specific responsibilities.
  6. Contributing as part of a global Foreign Trade team providing worldwide delivery and support.

Qualifications include:

  • A degree in (business) informatics, industrial engineering, mathematics, physics, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience with SAP Foreign Trade processes in R/3 and S/4HANA environments, including customizing.
  • Good knowledge of relevant SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM).
  • Experience with AEB modules such as Export/Import Filing, Product Classification, Compliance Screening, Customs Broker, and Risk/License Management, or similar solutions.
  • Strong conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build networks and work effectively in intercultural, interdisciplinary, global teams.
  • High willingness to learn and interest in new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel and good command of English, both spoken and written.
