In the field of service for high-voltage direct current transmission systems (HVDC), you will be part of our service team responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and servicing of automation, communication, safety, and other electrotechnical systems on converter stations and offshore platforms.

The projects are located in Germany and several other countries, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as in the North and Baltic Seas.

How you'll make an impact

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on high and low voltage equipment, as well as other components of HVDC platforms and converter stations.
  • Troubleshoot plant issues on a short-term basis.
  • Document all activities using maintenance software.
  • Adhere to internal safety specifications and relevant statutory safety regulations, including those of the customers.
  • Supervise contracted service providers, inspecting their work and services.

Your background

  • Successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electronics technician for industrial engineering, energy & building services engineering, automation technology, or mechatronics.
  • Additional training as a technician or master craftsman is preferred.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a high degree of initiative, assertiveness, willingness to learn, and customer orientation.
  • Fluent in German and English at level B1, due to work in multinational teams.
  • Flexible with a willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including trips to the Democratic Republic of Congo.
  • Participation in 24/7 on-call service.
  • Valid driving license class B.
