We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) / Programmer (m/f/d) for simulator applications for a project assignment with our client in Erlangen.
Your Future Area of Responsibility
- Implementation of control technology functions for operational and safety control systems in simulators.
- Development of I&C functions within simulator models in coordination with the I&C design team.
- Processing requests for quotations and contributing to quotation texts and calculations.
- Commissioning of systems at the customer's premises.
Your Profile
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, software development, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface.
- Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtual machine platforms (VMware).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as LabView, Grafana, Python, PyQT, and C.
- Good knowledge of C compilers (GCC, Visual Studio) and experience with Makefiles.
- Knowledge of network socket programming in C.
- Experience in commissioning simulators (e.g., CA-TS Simulator).
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently with a structured approach.
