SAP EWM Lead Consultant

We are currently seeking a SAP EWM Lead Consultant for a global client, offering international exposure and significant growth opportunities.

• Role: SAP EWM Lead Consultant
• Location: Remote, with travel to Germany (20% - 40%)
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months + extensions (long-term collaboration focus)
• Industry: Manufacturing

Project overview :

• Lead SAP EWM project stream, managing a team of functional and technical consultants to ensure successful delivery
• Provide technical and functional guidance on EWM, FIORI, and MFS to support the project
• Plan and execute project activities
• Manage stakeholders by communicating regularly with project managers, senior management, and business teams about progress, issues, and risks
• Identify and mitigate technical, functional, and business risks proactively
• Address and resolve technical or operational issues during implementation and post-go-live
• Participate in solution design, configuration, integration, testing, training, and knowledge transfer
• Ensure thorough documentation of configuration and process changes
• Foster a flexible, cooperative, team-oriented, and customer-focused attitude across teams

Post-template, the project will proceed to a large-scale design and implementation phase in Poland, serving as a pilot deployment to validate the template and make necessary adjustments before wider rollout.

Requirements :

• Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain, focusing on EWM
• Master's Degree in Logistic Engineering or related field
• Proven experience managing EWM projects
• Participation in 2-4 full lifecycle SAP EWM implementations, with a track record of delivering on time, within budget, and with high quality
• Functional expertise in supply chain processes
• Cross-functional SAP ERP analysis experience in TMS, PP, and MM modules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse international teams

Module specific requirements :

• Expertise in SAP EWM, FIORI, and MFS modules
• Knowledge of inbound, internal, and outbound warehouse flows, including integration strategies with PP, MM, and TMS
• Experience with Warehouse Master Data management in EWM
• Industry experience in warehouse execution is an advantage
• Leadership qualities: responsibility, accountability, ownership, initiative
• Adaptability to change and flexibility
• Effective time management and planning skills
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose solutions or workarounds
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
