Job Description:

Customer Quality Assurance

  1. Main contact for customers regarding quality issues after Start Of Production (SOP) and B sample delivery.
  2. Respond promptly to quality issues at OEMs, including questions, rework, and sorting activities.
  3. Build and maintain good relationships with customers.
  4. Transfer customer-specific requirements accurately to the CATL quality core team.
  5. Collaborate with the internal project quality team to analyze quality issues occurring at customer production sites and in the field.
  6. Coordinate and arrange the return of rejected items from customers and work closely with them on critical quality issues.
  7. Instruct customers to ensure proper assembly and follow up on the assembled status of products, including cells, modules, packs, and battery systems.
  8. Manage and handle security incidents.
  9. Support the resolution of key customer complaints from overseas.
  10. Work location: Germany. Business trips may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related technical field (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent).
  2. Two to three years of experience as a quality engineer is preferred.
  3. Proficiency in the five tools of quality management and their application.
  4. Familiarity with battery product structures, manufacturing processes, characteristics, and basic data analysis and risk assessment skills.
  5. Quality audit capabilities, understanding of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.
  6. Ability to independently resolve quality issues, proficient in 8D methodology.
  7. Excellent communication skills in English and the local language (e.g., German or Finnish), both written and verbal.
  8. EU driving license is preferred.
  9. Based in Hannover or Braunschweig.
