IT Project Expert

Company : Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer

My client is looking for an experienced IT Project Expert to join their team at a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical production facility in near Bielefeld, Germany. This position plays a critical role in supporting and coordinating a wide range of IT projects that contribute to the production of life-saving medications. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and solid IT expertise.

Responsibilities :

• Independently initiate, plan, and monitor IT projects
• Support the IT team with communication and implementation of IT initiatives
• Monitor and report project costs, milestones, and objectives
• Communicate and report to the global and local IT Project Management Office (PMO)
• Collaborate with a counterpart at the sister facility in the United States
• Serve as an interface to local project teams and participate in planning meetings
• Document recurring tasks and project progress for tracking purposes

Qualifications :

• Completed vocational training as an IT clerk, IT specialist, or similar qualification; alternatively, a degree in computer science or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing IT projects
• Strong IT knowledge including MS Office, Active Directory, IP networks, virtualisation, and scripting
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheets, MS Project, or similar
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills, with an independent and analytical work style
• Fluency in both written and spoken German and English
