Senior IT Service Manager - Application Lifecycle Management (m/w/d)Starting immediately, full-time, nationwide at a BWI location.
The 'Application Hosting' service package manages the operation of customer applications in Bundeswehr data centers. It ensures the setup of necessary, standardized operating platforms and coordinates the implementation, migration, and operation of existing and new applications on these platforms.
- Responsibility for service management and operation of customer applications throughout their lifecycle
- Fachliche Steuerung des Service-Teams
- Ensuring contract-compliant service delivery and quality, e.g., SLA and costs
- Compliance with operational processes and standards in application hosting
- Participation in solution design, implementation, and development of new applications and services
Qualifications:
- Completed degree or comparable qualification in economics and/or computer science
- Approximately 5 years of relevant professional experience and leadership experience, especially in IT customer projects within government or industry
- Excellent knowledge of IT services such as managed servers, databases, virtualization, middleware, and networks, preferably in data center environments
- Knowledge of ITIL, agile methods, and experience with IT operations, migrations, or outsourcing projects, ideally in a government setting
- Goal-oriented, strong communication and delegation skills, responsible, meticulous work ethic
- Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
