Senior Software Engineer (FE/React)

We're seeking an experienced Frontend Developer specialized in React to design and build exceptional user interfaces, optimize user experiences, and ensure seamless integration with our backend and APIs.

Tasks

• Develop User-Centric Features: Engineer innovative features using React and TypeScript, transforming designs and prototypes into efficient code structures.
• Maintain and Optimize Components: Ensure the efficiency and growth of our internal frontend libraries by creating, managing, and improving reusable components with a focus on performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Proactively collaborate with Product, UX, and Backend teams to improve processes and workflows. Contribute to planning sessions and technical documentation.
• Mentor and Support Peers: Mentor and support other frontend developers by providing guidance and assisting with their technical growth. Help them onboard into our codebase and workflows.
• Engage in Knowledge Sharing: Participate in team knowledge-sharing efforts including tech talks, workflow documentation, and exploring modern technologies. Foster an AI mindset by proactively supporting backend and product teams with innovative ideas and solutions.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Web Development with a strong emphasis on React and TypeScript.
• Proven experience in developing responsive, high-quality web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and component libraries (ideally Radix UI).
• Familiarity with build and development tools such as Vite.
• Experience with modern API communication methods, preferably Protocol Buffers.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and analytics tools like Sentry and PostHog.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, UX/UI best practices, and accessibility standards.
• Familiarity with git-based version control and review processes including merge requests.
• Experience with performance testing tools like Mocha and Jest.
• Ability to operate autonomously, address bugs, and innovate on existing features.
• Demonstrates a proactive "get things done" mentality with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills, articulate communication, and fluency in English.
• Eagerness to improve continuously, advocating for best practices including clean coding, refactoring, and automated testing.
