Job Description:
The Systems Engineer will work with a team of Administrators, Engineers, and Architects to build a coalition environment for our U.S. Army Europe-Africa (USAREUR-AF) customer. The main focus is performing SharePoint Engineering and Administration functions. Additionally, the Systems Engineer will maintain system security, establish practices and procedures, monitor usage statistics and logs, develop baseline configurations, and troubleshoot system-related problems. The role requires staying current with operating systems, software analysis, technological developments, and applications, providing expertise in software development or modification to enhance operating systems.
How a Senior Systems Engineer Will Make an Impact:
- Provides technical guidance and leadership to less experienced engineers.
- Creates effective and clear documentation (EIPs, Build Guides, TTPs, etc.).
- Detail-oriented and organized; ensures accuracy of information systems.
- Performs SharePoint Engineering and Administration functions.
- Maintains system security, establishes practices, monitors logs, develops configurations, and troubleshoots issues.
- Analyzes operating systems and software developments.
- Provides expertise in software development or modification to enhance systems.
Qualifications for Success:
- Education: Bachelor Degree; experience may substitute for degree.
- Required Experience: 8+ years in Systems Engineering.
- Technical Skills: Microsoft SharePoint Administration (3+ years).
- Security Clearance: Secret Level Security Clearance.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in SQL Server, DoD system hardening (STIG, ACAS), Windows OS, virtualized environments, server backups, PowerShell scripting.
- Must meet German TESA requirements.
- Must possess DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification on Day 1.
- Must obtain ITIL Foundation certification within 90 days of hire.

Position may involve less than 10% travel and is onsite. The salary range is $105,622 - $138,000, depending on experience and location.
