Technical Sales Engineer - Electrical Vehicle Charging Solution (French Speaking)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Support Engineer for our Electrical Vehicle Charging Solution (EVCS) team to support business growth in France, Benelux, and Italy, based in Teningen, Germany, or Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.

Your main responsibilities include:

  1. Providing technical support to sales, clients, and product marketing in a timely and accurate manner.
  2. Assisting in the preparation of quotations and technical documentation compliant with local regulations.
  3. Offering recommendations and expert advice on solutions (consultancy).
  4. Collaborating with the development team to resolve technical inquiries.
  5. Conducting feasibility studies with R&D and consulting clients on alternative solutions.
  6. Identifying new market opportunities, understanding local laws and standards.
  7. Occasionally supporting customers with complex technical challenges.
  8. Maintaining strong business relationships and ensuring quality service delivery.
  9. Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of product lines to customers.
  10. Providing customer training on planning, installation, and commissioning procedures.
  11. Supporting sales during marketing events and exhibitions.

Minimum qualifications include:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in electrical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in electric vehicle charging solutions, energy storage systems, or power conditioning systems.
  3. Fluency in English and French; Italian language skills are a plus.
  4. System integration and technical project management experience.
  5. Broad knowledge of communication interfaces for electrical system integration.
  6. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
  7. Ability to analyze customer requirements and communicate technical details effectively.
  8. Ability to work independently within an international team environment.
  9. Strong customer orientation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  10. Willingness to travel occasionally and possession of a valid driver’s license.
