System Engineer (f/m/d) Linux & Kubernetes

Full-time/part-time | Permanent | Pay grade up to E11 | Pay grade up to A11

Place of work: Munich or Nuremberg

YOUR TASKS

• Administration of digital platforms for the data exchange of public authorities and a BigBlueButton system in the Linux, Docker and Kubernetes environment
• Monitoring, performance analyses and optimization of the systems
• Error analysis and troubleshooting as part of incident and problem management
• Optimization of operations through the introduction of innovative technologies, development and application of automation

YOUR PROFILE

• Successfully completed studies (Dipl.-FH or Bachelor) in computer science, business informatics or a comparable course of study with a focus on IT and several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned area of responsibilityor
• successfully completed IT vocational training with several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned field of responsibility and in combination with extensive further training in two other IT specialist areas (e.g. platforms for digital technologies, design and operation of collaboration platforms)
• Bachelor graduates (f/m/d) without professional experience are also welcome and start at E10
• Knowledge of applications on container platforms (e.g. Docker or Kubernetes), web components such as Apache and Nginx as well as working with Linux, Ansible, Git and YAML
• Existing knowledge of applications for data exchange, collaboration integration and communication would be ideal
• Very good written and spoken German and good English skills
• Willingness to take on service and on-call times
• Commitment to continuous training and professional development
