Hardware Safety Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Challenge the safety design of the Project
• Present possible alternatives and their advantages and disadvantages
• Interact with Safety Engineers, System Engineers, and SW Engineers
• Conduct hands-on laboratory testing

Your Profile:

• Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electrics
• Proven experience of at least 1 Project development along its entire V-Cycle: applications not fulfilling this request will not be considered
• Knowledge of Rail signalling systems; knowledge about other Rolling stocks Sub-systems functionalities is a plus
• Certified Functional Safety Engineer is a plus
• Able to perform electronic HW design
• Experience working in accordance with V-cycle, System and Functional requirements
• Knowledge of EN 50126, EN 50129 CENELEC standards
• Customer-oriented work approach
• German min. B2 level, certification will be required
