Precision and teamwork in production

For our customer Hensoldt Optronics GmbH in Wetzlar (near Gießen), we are looking for an Assembly Specialist in Production who can contribute to the successful integration and production of high-precision products with an independent way of working and a high level of coordination. The maximum gross annual salary is € 32,900. Please note that we can only consider candidates who have a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (not a student visa).

Job description

Tasks

  • Bonding and adjusting optical components
  • Cleaning of optics and components
  • Soldering parts and components
  • Assembling mechanical assemblies according to specifications
  • Selecting suitable measuring and testing equipment for quality controls
  • Carrying out measurements and acceptance tests on finished devices
  • Completing test reports and documenting the work
  • Disassembly of repair devices for troubleshooting

Requirements

  • Completed technical vocational training
  • Professional experience in an assembly company
  • Experience with cleaning optical components
  • Good knowledge of assembly work, soldering and gluing required
  • Business fluent German (min. C1) and advanced English skills (min. B2)
  • Valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU
