We are continuously working on creating a better future, and we need great minds to reach that goal thus we're looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with relevant experience to expand our Vision & AI competence center team located in Oranienburg near Berlin, Germany . You are part of a team of about 10 software engineers that is located in Germany, Netherlands and Australia.

As a Software Engineer you work closely with all other team members within Innovation, like Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Mechanical Engineers.

As part of your daily responsibility, you will:

• Collaborate with the innovation team to design and develop software for vision systems for the food industry.
• Participate in implementation and testing of software modules and software features.
• Analyze requirements and write design specifications for software modules and software features.
• Contribute to team collaboration and build team spirit.
• Further standardize our library to improve efficiency and ease of maintenance.
• Perform evaluations, testing and analyses remotely or at customer site

• You have completed a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical discipline
• Experience with C++ (C# and Kotlin are also welcome)
• Experience with application development using Microsoft Windows and Visual Studio (MFC) as an asset
• Experience in image processing and vision systems is plus but not necessary
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• The ability to prioritize and work effectively under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team
• Fluency in English, spoken and written. Knowledge in German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel 10-20%
