Summary

We are looking for a Product Manager Naval Assets for MSSR (f/m/d) for the Identification Friend Foe (IFF) program area at the Munich / Taufkirchen location as soon as possible.

The program area Identification Friend Foe (IFF) is responsible for the product line ATC / IFF, handling all projects, developing the product portfolio, and supporting sales in offer preparations.

Your Tasks

  1. Manage equipment for IFF systems on ships and shore installations, focusing on future development of cabinets in conjunction with MSSR.
  2. Lead development teams.
  3. Drive civil and military approvals for future products.
  4. Define requirements with project managers and sales for future projects.
  5. Manage budgets for development activities.
  6. Create and maintain schedules and release plans collaboratively.
  7. Ensure compliance with HMS product lifecycle standards.
  8. Develop the existing portfolio with cross-team collaboration.
  9. Communicate with external stakeholders such as AIMS, BAAINBw, WTD, and customers.

Your Profile

  1. Degree in electrical or communications engineering or similar.
  2. Experience in project management, especially in development projects.
  3. Knowledge of IFF system technology is advantageous.
  4. PMI / IPMA certification or similar is advantageous.
  5. Assertiveness, teamwork, and communication skills in demanding environments.
  6. Leadership and motivation skills for interdisciplinary teams.
  7. Flexibility and willingness to travel.
  8. Fluent in German and English.
