Supplier Quality Assurance Senior Expert for Complex Mechanical Parts (m / f / d)

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and manage overall activities for a clean launch, ensuring stable delivery and quality of complex mechanical parts.
• Appropriately plan and follow up on supplier development milestones and schedules according to APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) procedures, collaborating with relevant stakeholders such as engineering and suppliers.
• Utilize expertise in processing technologies during supplier pre-development and pre-qualification phases. Review and verify parts design and production processes to identify risks and implement countermeasures, reflecting them in development milestones and schedules.
• Propose solution options by reviewing customer requirements, system design, parts design, and production engineering. Collaborate to find optimal solutions and support the PPAP team for timely approvals.
• Study valuable solutions in cases of non-conformance or supplier requests.
• Participate in supplier development and performance evaluation.
• Document lessons learned and incorporate them into written procedures.
• Take an active role in VAVE activities and design-to-cost initiatives at the program award stage.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design Engineering.
• Experience in Mechanical Design Engineering, Parts Production Engineering, Quality Assurance, and/or Purchasing within the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of processing technologies such as high precision plastic molding and die casting, and APQP processes.
• Experience with DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and PFMEA.
• Ability to understand technical content, development risks, and countermeasures to plan reasonable milestones and launches.
• Ability to review customer requirements, system design, parts design, and production engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and intercultural competencies.
• Willingness to travel.
