You will be joining an expanding team responsible for the operation and support of the customer's telecom infrastructure. This role involves hands-on management of Avaya communication systems and related technologies, ensuring system reliability, performing IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, Change), and supporting end users and service desk requests.

Key Responsibilities :

You’ll manage all IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) requests, deliver Level 2 / 3 support for Avaya Communication Servers, Media Gateways and Backup Servers, and oversee system health by monitoring alerts, applying patches, running backups and preventive maintenance. You’ll coordinate any changes affecting the Avaya UC environment, handle incident resolution through our reporting tool from start to finish, and promptly address service‑desk tickets, keeping accurate documentation throughout.

Required Skillset :

  • Telephony & UC Expertise :
  • Strong experience with Avaya IP Telephony platforms and Unified Communications solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Avaya soft and hard endpoints.
  • Ability to deploy, configure, test, and document end-to-end UC infrastructure.
  • Technical Certifications :
  • Protocols & Configuration :
  • Solid working knowledge of SIP and H.323 protocols.
  • Experience in managing, provisioning, and configuring Avaya endpoints.
  • Practical experience with Avaya SBC implementation and configuration.
  • Additional Skills :
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks to closure.

This is an initial 12 month contract working onsite in Stuttgart, Germany
