SAP Test Automation Engineer

SAP Test Engineer – Automation – 6 Months + extension

My Client is seeking a skilled UFT Test Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automating SAP applications using Micro Focus UFT (Unified Functional Testing). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, with a strong understanding of SAP business processes and UFT best practices.

Requirements:

1. Develop and maintain UFT automation scripts for SAP applications.
2. Collaborate with functional and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.
3. Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and report defects.
4. Enhance existing automation frameworks and ensure script reusability.
5. Participate in regular test planning and status meetings.

Skills Needed:

1. Around 3 years of experience in UFT (formerly QTP) test automation.
2. Hands-on experience with SAP GUI/Fiori automation using UFT.
3. Strong VBScript programming skills.
4. Understanding of SAP business workflows and modules.
5. Familiarity with HP ALM / Quality Center is a plus.
