Your key responsibilities will include:
Depending on the actual opening, the responsibilities would of course vary, but here some insights on what tasks you might come across
- Contribute to the implementation of the BAT multicategory strategy for the respective channel & support in achieving the channel KPIs.
- Strategic and operational support for the Channel Manager (CHM) and Key Account Managers (KAM) including planning, preparing, implementing and evaluating activities.
- Management of assigned key accounts (potentially in cooperation with key account manager).
- Development of concepts & activities to further drive channel performance (Sales, Shares, Active Sales) across accounts.
- Management of cross-functional projects & tasks for the channel (Launches, Sales Cycles).
- Support KAMs in developing the holistic Total Customer Invest strategy (front and back margin).
- Support CHM & KAMs with annual marketing planning cycles including budget planning.
- Key contact for other departments, esp. Commercial Planning, Field Force, Direct-to-Consumer, Brand, Marketing Finance etc.
- Analysis and evaluation of channel, account, and general market data.
What are we looking for?
- 2-3 years of professional experience in Marketing, preferably in Trade or Brand Marketing.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to build concepts & think strategically with commercial acumen.
- Independent working, flexibility, resilience, prioritization & time management.
- Strong problem-solving skills, results orientation, and learning flexibility.
- University degree – bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Commitment to become a future leader of BAT.
- Excellent MS Office skills, esp. Excel & PowerPoint as well as BAT-own systems.
- Very good proficiency in English and German.
