Responsibilities:
You are responsible for carrying out monthly payroll accounting for a defined group of employees, including batch processing of test and live payroll runs, plus all preparatory and follow-up work
You are in charge of maintaining, checking and archiving payroll-relevant personnel data as well as batch imports of transaction data with the software used
You oversee the preparation, implementation and monitoring of payroll accounting and the certification and reporting system
You advise and support managers and employees on all tax and social security issues
You correspond independently with public authorities, social security institutions and tax authorities
Your tasks also include looking after the company pension scheme and providing support in time management and access control
You participate in task-specific project activities
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed your (commercial) training, optionally with further training as a personnel specialist, or have a similar qualification
You have sound, practical professional experience in payroll accounting in an industrial company
You have good knowledge of tax and social security law
You are also familiar with a time management system, knowledge of the PAISY payroll software is an advantage
You are familiar with the use of MS Office
Your personality is characterized by a high level of social competence, strong communication skills and a pronounced ability to work in a team
You have a very good command of written and spoken German (C1) and a good command of English
