Job Description:

In our Engineering Competence Center in Dresden, our team of experts research and develop innovative new products based on exact customer needs. Currently, we are looking for a forward-thinking, experienced and skilled project manager.

Lead, manage and motivate project engineers as well as the entire project team

Be responsible for the management and leadership of the entire project, enuring necessary actions are undertaken to achieve the set targets

Define and keep track of project goals, budgets, cost and schedule according to commonly agreed targets from pre-development phases into mass production

Ensure solution driven customer communication and customer management, in cooperation with Business Development Management and sales team

Be responsible for your projects execution by using milestone reviews, project tools and documentation accordingly

Present the project results to European and Global Management

Support the improvement of the Johnson Electric project management processes by your innovation, ideas, and engagement

University degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, precision engineering or a similar subject with technical business background

Several years of experience as a project manager, product manager or engineer, preferably on mechatronic projects and industrialization for mass production

Experience in multi-project management, with interdisciplinary teams across global organizations

Experience with external customer projects and cooperation to external parties

Project management experience acc. to ISO9011, with milestone processes and product approvals

Sound usage of MS office and project management tools

Proficient English language skills (written and spoken)

Proficiency in the German language is highly desirable and will be considered an asset

Basic understanding of mechatronic systems and industrial manufacturing

Basic experiences or interest in Agile Management

Several years of experience in the development of technical systems as well as their industrialization

Customer focused view combined with a think-like-an-owner attitude

Structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic way of thinking and working

Committed and reliable personality
