Logistics at full potential

Have you always been handy with numbers? Do you keep an overview and ensure that there are no errors in the reports you have checked? Do you have a completed education in Controlling, Accountancy, Business Economics, or Business Administration? Then read on, because we are looking for a full-time Business Controller for our site in Dormagen, Germany!

What are your typical tasks as a Business Controller:

  1. Controlling the financial performance of our logistics center
  2. Overseeing financial processes and preparing reports (weekly or monthly figures)
  3. Preparing and monitoring the realization of the annual budget
  4. Developing financial forecasts
  5. Preparing data presentations and analyses for the organization
  6. Initiating, developing, and implementing cost optimization systems
  7. Identifying business risks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  1. Previous experience in financial controlling or a similar position
  2. Thorough knowledge of financial analysis, financial and management accounting
  3. Educational background in economics or finance
  4. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (knowledge of VBA would be an advantage)
  5. Proficiency in both English and German
  6. Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and analytical thinking
