As an Account Manager, you are the extension of Innova’s clients’ teams and work hand in hand on their marketing, R&D, and sales strategies. You maintain relationships with users and key decision-makers through regular communication and grow the account by creating awareness of Innova’s capabilities. The goal is to not only retain clients but to nurture and develop the relationship to a strategic level.

Your responsibilities:

  • Identify clients’ needs, seek strategic opportunities, and build long-term business relationships.
  • Build meaningful relationships with clients by engaging with key decision-makers about their insights needs and business challenges.
  • Coordinate with Innova’s support team for daily client activities.
  • Represent Innova professionally to clients and serve as the link to all departments within the company.
  • Communicate feedback effectively to foster collaboration and relationship growth.
  • Represent the company and brand professionally in the German market, attending trade shows and conferences to meet clients and strengthen loyalty.
  • Engage with clients both digitally and onsite, train them to retrieve insights independently, present future food trends, document activities in our CRM, and stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop an engagement plan for consistent client interaction, including regular check-ins and feedback sessions to foster mutual growth.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 4+ years of successful sales, marketing, or customer service experience.
  • Prior B2B sales experience; food and beverage industry knowledge is a bonus.
  • Basic understanding of how consumer and market insights influence business decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English.
  • Willingness to travel within Germany (10% - 20%).
