  • Escalating and resolving incidents, service requests, and operational issues in compliance with SLAs.
  • Managing change requests and deployments following best practices in Change Management to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Performing capacity planning, system upgrades, and optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of cloud and virtualized environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to coordinate incident resolution and infrastructure changes, ensuring effective communication throughout the support process.

What we expect from you:

  • Good knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Completed IT-related training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration).
  • Experience in virtualization (e.g., VMware) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl) is desirable.

  • Knowledge of NetApp storage systems, VMware ESXi, and KVM hypervisors.
  • Experience with Kubernetes microservices for container orchestration and management, and automation scripts (Python, Bash).
  • Willingness to work in shifts (day and evening shifts; no night shifts) and occasional weekend maintenance.
  • Very good German and English skills, spoken and written.
  • Independent, structured working style, analytical skills, communication skills, and teamwork ability.
