Institut für angewandte Familien-, Kindheits- und Jugendforschung e.V. an der Universität Potsdam Institute for Applied Research on Childhood, Youth, and the Family is an independent interdisciplinary research institution that offers research, consulting, and training services in the fields of family research and youth welfare, youth research, educational research, and child day care as well as transportation research.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an employee in the field of IT system administration and software development (m/f/d) as soon as possible:

Your profile:

• A varied job with an application focus in a committed team
• A permanent part-time or full-time position (at least 20 hours per week)

Your tasks:

• Administration of servers and computers
• Hardware and software management
• Maintenance and conceptualization
• Successful training as an IT specialist, completed computer science studies, or comparable qualification
• Good knowledge of system administration and hardware and software management
• Good programming knowledge in the area of CMS and database systems (especially Contao)
• Further development of a software for daycare center quality management using Contao
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team, commitment, and flexibility
• Accompaniment of programming work of external providers
• Participation in projects in the automotive field (e.g., data evaluations, internal and external data management)
• Strong understanding of service and independent, results-oriented action
• Interest in traffic science topics (e.g., automated driving, human-machine interaction)
• Homepage creation and maintenance
• Technical support and assistance for hybrid events (e.g., setting up camera and sound technology)
