K-12 Music and Band Director

Loop ISD is seeking a passionate and dynamic Music and Band Director to lead our district-wide music and band programs. The candidate will inspire a love of music in students at all grade levels while building strong, successful performance groups.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and implement music instruction for students in grades K-12.
2. Direct the school's instrumental band program, including rehearsals and performances.
3. Prepare students for concerts, contests, and other public performances.
4. Manage and maintain musical instruments and equipment.
5. Maintain compliance with district and U.I.L. guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field.
2. Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
3. Valid K-12 Music teaching certification.

Salary is competitive and based upon experience.

Loop has a 4-day school week.

Housing is offered upon availability.
