Based in the South West of Germany, an innovative and rapidly expanding company is seeking a Global Service Manager.

This company develops world-leading Networking and Energy Solutions and is a market leader. They are looking for a Global Service Manager to coordinate an international team of technical service specialists.

Responsibilities

1. Share site feedback to improve internal processes and product quality.
2. Identify and certify new service partners to expand support.
3. Train and support service partners to strengthen the service network.
4. Collaborate with the global service team and sales units on strategic initiatives.
5. Identify opportunities to grow regional service revenue.
6. Oversee site activities, conduct client training, and resolve technical issues.
7. Manage third-party contracts, including quotes, scheduling, and pricing.
8. Allocate resources according to service plans.
9. Prepare cost estimates based on site evaluations for sales proposals.
10. Lead the local service team, providing technical direction and personnel management.

Desired Skills and Experience

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
2. At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Service Engineer.
3. Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience.
4. Willingness to travel internationally (~30%).
5. Fluency in English and German is mandatory.
