About the role:

In this role, you’ll be the operational backbone of their employee lifecycle. From onboarding to offboarding, from contracts to compliance, and from payroll prep to data accuracy - you’ll keep things running smoothly while continuously improving how we work. You’ll collaborate across departments (Finance, Sales Ops, Legal, IT), bring structure to complexity, and act as a trusted partner to employees and stakeholders alike. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-obsessed, legally sharp, globally minded - and passionate about building efficient, user-friendly people processes in a fast-moving environment.

What you'll do:

  • Global People Operations: Manage and improve core HR processes across the employee lifecycle - onboarding, changes, leaves, exits - with a structured, compliant, and human-first approach.
  • Payroll Preparation: Own preparatory payroll across multiple countries, working closely with their external payroll providers and ensuring everything runs accurately and on time.
  • Employee Benefits: Lead the assessment, implementation, and ongoing administration of employee benefit programs across regions - from health and retirement to mobility and perks. Ensure alignment with local needs, partner with Finance on budgets, and continuously evolve their offering to support engagement and retention.
  • Contracts & Documents: Draft and manage contracts, amendments, confirmations, and offboarding documents, legally compliant and always up to date.
  • HRIS & Data Integrity: Maintain and improve data quality in their HR systems, particularly Personio. You don’t just input data, you understand it, own it, and use it.
  • Compliance & Labor Law: Ensure their processes meet labor law requirements across Germany and other European countries.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Sales Operations, and Legal to align processes, improve workflows, and support people-related decisions.
  • Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and help build scalable, automated workflows. We don’t do “this is how it’s always been.”
  • People Enablement: Be a go-to person for their employees - clear, responsive, empathetic, and reliable.

Who you are:

  • Fluency in German and English (other languages are a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in People/HR operations in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law; additional European market exposure (e.g. NL, FR, UK) a bonus.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll prep and working with external providers.
  • Deep familiarity with HRIS systems - Personio is a strong plus.
  • A structured, data-driven working style and high attention to detail.
  • Strong service mindset - you care about delivering excellent internal experiences.
  • Curiosity and ambition to learn, improve, and build, especially in areas like analytics, systems, or automation.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders across disciplines and cultures.

What they offer:

  • The office, 20-30 minutes from Munich, offers modern amenities, great transport links, parking, and a view of Lake Starnberg.
  • Subsidized lunches in their in-house restaurant.
  • A cycling package through their partnership with JobRad, plus additional cash incentives if you commute regularly by bike.
  • Opportunity to work flexibly from home.
  • Team get-togethers every Thursday with refreshments.
  • A Company Pension Plan (bAV).
  • 30 vacation days a year.
  • The opportunity to transform HR Operations in a fast-growing, international tech company.
