Job Description

We are seeking a talented Python Developer (m / f / d) to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Python to design, build, and optimize data pipelines and workflows. Your work will involve creating and maintaining APIs, working with dataframes and SQL , and performing data transformations to enable effective data handling and decision-making for global clients.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Python-based services, APIs, and data pipelines
• Work with APIs to extract, integrate, and process data from diverse sources
• Perform data transformations and build robust workflows for cleaning and structuring data
• Collaborate on notebooks and data processing frameworks to handle large datasets efficiently
• Utilize dataframes (e.g., pandas, PySpark, polars) for advanced data manipulation and analysis
• Work with various data sources , including relational databases (SQL-based) and flat files (e.g., CSV, JSON, Parquet)
• Optimize performance for ETL processes and large-scale data handling in distributed environments like Apache Spark
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data source management

Key Skills and Qualifications :

• Strong proficiency in Python , with experience in standard packages like pydantic, pandas , NumPy , Psycopg2, Flask, FastApi and others
• Experience working with data pipelines and ETL processes in production environments.
• Proficient in handling APIs for data extraction and integration
• Familiarity with notebooks (e.g., Jupyter) for collaborative development and analysis
• Solid understanding of data transformations and advanced data manipulation techniques
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and working with SQL for querying and optimization
• Experience handling flat files (e.g., CSV, JSON, Parquet) and large datasets in distributed systems
• Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD), including writing unit tests
• Hands-on experience with Spark or Databricks for scalable data processing is a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in processing and validating data
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
