At the Bosch Sensortec headquarters, our team drives the development of leading-edge Mixed-Signal ICs that enable new features for our customers. To strengthen the team, we are seeking an experienced IC digital designer. You will be responsible for designing and developing digital logic for our next-generation sensors. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in RTL design and synthesis and a deep understanding of the latest digital IC design technologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement digital circuits for ICs using industry-standard design tools and flows.
  • Derive detailed specifications from early high-level architectural exploration and microarchitectural research.
  • Create the physical implementation of digital modules from RTL to GDSII.
  • Optimize the design for power, performance, and area.
  • Write and review design documentation.
  • Ensure that the digital circuit meets overall system requirements through debugging and verification.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate your design into the chip architecture.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital IC design technologies and trends.

Qualifications and personal qualities:

  • Personality: High enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams; excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Working practice: Experience with digital IC design in VHDL/Verilog, simulation tools, and prototyping. Strong understanding of logic design principles, timing, and power implications.
  • Experience: Knowledge of low-power microarchitecture techniques; familiarity with VLSI design flow and methodologies, including timing closure, synthesis, place and route, and ATPG.
  • Languages: Proficient in English; advanced German skills are a plus.
  • Education: Master's degree or PhD in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
